Capt. Bouc is a registered teacher and holds commercial ship Master's tickets for near coastal and inland waters.
His professional teaching career started in schools then progressed to training teachers in the management of school camps and outdoor education then he established a Residential Outdoor School based in Goolwa and taking school groups into the Coorong National Park mostly with escorted canoeing expeditions and sometimes a large passenger launch cruising from Goolwa, through the barrage, past the Murray Mouth and into the Coorong.

Located in the very popular Angas Inlet tidal boating environment in the Port River Mangrove wilderness Dolphin sanctuary. Theory discussion in the Angas Inlet Boat Club then Boat skills work and assessment, launching from the adjoining free boat ramp shown in the photo. If shown to be safe in driving the boat, Bouc will issue a Certificate of Competency accepted by SA Gov to purchase a Boat Licence.

Entry Point is Coxswain grade 3 near Coastal (Cox3NC)
It allows you to drive a work boat in near coastal or inland waters with no more than 4 passengers onboard, or to act as a general hand for any paid work on larger boats operating on inland or near coastal waters.
We offer this course as a one day extension to our Boat Licence course.

The One day assessment is an extension of the Boat licence class. This Ticket is required for Deck Hand crew for larger boats on near coastal or inland waters. Details of preparation for the practical assessment can be requested from Capt. Bouc.
We can use any suitable large commercial vessel, inshore or on the river.

This one day assessment is an extension after completing the Boat licence class. This Ticket is required for commercial operation of small boats or ship's tender with maximum 4 passengers, or for deck hand on any commercial boat operating in near coastal or inland waters. The list of skills to be assessed with a commercial boat can be requested from Capt. Bouc.
We can use any suitable boating location with a boat ramp.

We work with Royal Lifesaving Society SA for this course combining Royal Life Saving Society Pool Lifeguard training with our Boat handling skills training for escort and safety boat operations.
This is an advanced 5 day course delivered as residential, onboard our Aerie Cruise College Houseboat,
