Paid crew member? You must have at least Cox3NC

Coxswain 3NC is the minimum commercial marine ticket required to work on commercial inshore and river boats.

All commercial boat crew, deck hand, hospitality and catering, are included in this requirement.

This is an 8 hour practical skills training and competency assessment check list to be reported to AMSA for issue of the Cox3NC ticket. Candidates are advised to request a copy of the check list as a briefing overview of the assessment. A list of rope work and knots are part of the assessment. Learning the ropes is a good practice start place.

This course is an extension to our Boat Licence course using any commercial boat, its equipment and its documentation, for the required practical skills and knowledge competency assessment.
