Paid crew member? You must have at least Cox3NC

Coxswain 3NC is the minimum commercial marine ticket required to work as deck crew on commercial inshore and river boats.

This is an 8 hour practical competency assessment and report extension from our Boat Licence course using any commercial boat. The required practical skills competencies are recorded and reported to AMSA for the issuance of the commercial ticket.

On larger boats passenger boats hospitality and caterers also do deck crew work like berthing and passenger movement at busy times. 

This ticket is required when they do any commercial work on any boat.
